Location

Exeter Cathedral and the Hall

Our marriage ceremony will take place at Exeter Cathedral.

After the ceremony, we will continue the celebrations at the Hall, on the historic Stepcote Hill (EX1 1BD)

The journey between the two venues is a short walk of under 10 mins. Please note Stepcote Hill is both steep and cobbled!

Guests with limited mobility may prefer to park at the bottom of Stepcote Hill and walk up to the Hall for a shorter journey. Parking in this area is limited.

Journeys

By rail

Exeter is well connected by train. The main station is Exeter St David’s, some trains may arrive at Exeter Central.

From either station, you can take a taxi into the city centre or continue on foot if you are travelling light. Be warned the walk up from St David’s is steep!

By road

Parking is available from Exeter City Council. We would recommend the Cathedral & Quay Car Park at 28 Lower Coombe St, Exeter EX1 1DE. This is around a ten minute walk from the Cathedral and the Hall.

By air

For guests travelling from further afield, the most convenient airports are likely to be Bristol or London.

From Bristol or London, Exeter can be reached by rail or road.

By bus

Most local services will terminate at Exeter Bus Station, which is a short walk to the Cathedral.

If your bus stops at the High Street, this will be even more convenient.
